A progressive mid/upper-level trough is forecast to shift out of the Rockies and into the Central U.S. this weekend. The Storm Prediction Center has put out a Slight Risk for severe storms today in West Texas and across a large area of the Central U.S. for Saturday. Main threats will be from large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes are possible. Closer to Central Texas storms should develop to our west and north west on Saturday and move closer to Central Texas by late Saturday evening and through the overnight hours. We could also see a few strong to severe storms with the main threats being from damaging winds and large hail. To see the latest radar go to our LIVE-WX page.
